Reservation Guidelines

We do not require a deposit, however we do require a credit card number at the time of booking to confirm and hold your reservation.  This also applies to passengers using gift cards.

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your flight to allow time for ticketing and a safety briefing.  You may pay as you choose on the day of your flight.  We accept cash (including USD), traveler’s cheques, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Union Pay.

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, you must notify Alpine Helicopters 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure time for sightseeing tours and 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time for private charters.

Cancellations received within the three hour time period prior to departure stated above are subject to a 50% non-refundable charge that will be applied to the credit card number used to hold the reservation.

Due to weather concerns, we recommend all customers call 3 hours prior to departure time to confirm the tour is operating.  We encourage guests traveling from out of town who are coming to Banff/Canmore for the day and are specifically coming for a tour to call prior to leaving for Canmore.  The weather in the Rocky Mountains is often quite different than what it is in Calgary and we don’t want you to be disappointed.

Alpine reserves the right to cancel at any time before or during a flight for weather, maintenance and/or emergencies.
